El Salvador Travel Set
July 9th, 2009
Posted by Beth

We’ve waited a long, long time… and we’re getting closer and closer.
We’ve confirmed the majority of our travel to El Salvador for the adoption.
We’ll leave from Miami on a direct flight to Comalapa International Airport in San Salvador, about a 2 hr flight (about the size of West Palm Beach or Tallahassee Airport). I’ll post more specifics when we get closer.
……………………….
Meanwhile, it’s been a busy summer for us with my camps, Matt’s baseball, Daryl’s projects and work. In a sense, good for us, as it’s created distractions and busy nightly activities (which, as a family, we typically guard against.)
No doubt, they’ll be some hurdles in ES as we hit this final stage.
………………………..
BTW, my friend Lisa Jones–another AWAA Mom–just completed her adoption of a 9-year old daughter in ES!!
Check her out here. Read what the process has been like.
She’s still in San Salvador today, hoping to return any time. Please pray for her and her new daughter.
Grace and peace amigos.

From Nancy
Beth, I read your friends message of her experience in El Salvador and it sounds like we should be praying for your patience during your time there. It sounds like it will be quite an ordeal, but I am sure you were well aware of that before now. Anyway…..still thinking of you and all your needs as you proceed.
Hope Matt’s ball games are going well. Good that Grandpa and Grandma can be with you to enjoy some of them. Tell him and Daryl hello for us too.

Beth….What a sweet little girl.
I know that you’re well prepared for the long wait down there. Hang in there. Just count it up to “labor” time.
I’ll be praying for your entire family.
Love you,
Becky
