Our El Salvador Adoption
¡Hola!,
Some of you know us; many of you don’t. That’s us, up there in the photo. 
And here’s the short story:
We’re a Florida family of three, tossed into a life changing Chapter that began in May 2005. In October 2006, our adoption journey began, and so did this online blog.
Why post all this stuff?
Well, it started out as a way for us to document the adoption process for ourselves — so we could remember where we were in the long process!
But like everything else online, it morphed into something more. And one day, this adoption story will become the real-life, true story, to be read by Nino Escogido (transl: our chosen child). Perfectly preserved and documented efforts of love.
Look closely at our photo: You’ll see Space Shuttle Atlantis STS-117 lifting off from KSC in the backdrop (6/8/07) at our local beach.
I’m the Mom; he’s the Dad; and we have two amazing children — Matt (the world’s best baseball player, above) and Katherine (waiting on us in heaven.)
