Life on the Edge in El Salvador

Here’s a stunning photo gallery you will appreciate, Benediction of God: Life on the Edge in El Salvador.
“Benediction,” of course, means a short blessing.
Having experienced the countryside myself, some would argue how anyone could consider a culture like this to be any form of blessing.
The need is so great.
Passport Requested

Went ahead and applied for MTL’s passport for our international adoption today. Pretty harmless process, although for minors they do require both parents to show up at the courthouse with both the child and the birth certificate in hand.
Also have to“raise your right hand,” swear and affirm stuff.
Luckily, we both have good flexibility in our schedule, and got in-and-out in about 15 minutes. They say it takes 8 weeks to get the PP.

Thanks!
“Quit Making Excuses!”

Nice headline about excuse-making, right?
Howdy again.
Of course, with this being a brand new year I’ve been mercilessly going through my usual self-reflection and goal-setting rituals. And that headline about excuse-making?
Applicable to International Adoption too, ya know…
